The Toy Fusion table at SacAnime

As I mentioned in a SacAnime post in January, I recorded a few interviews and a couple panels using a recently purchased portable recorder. I finally got my act together and combined them into one long podcast episode. Don’t worry, time markers are in the show notes below.

UPDATE 3/7 6AM PST: The first upload of this episode included panels being cut off near the end due to screw-ups when I converted the original WMA recordings into an editable format. A fixed, more full-featured version has since been uploaded.

I have attended SacAnime twice before but two Saturdays ago, I went around the Scottish Rite Center wearing a press badge for the first time. The overall experience wasn’t very different but there were some highlights worth mentioning.

Last weekend I drove to Sacramento for Sac-Anime 2008 and enjoyed this year more than 2007’s iteration, although it still wasn’t as great as it could have been.

Two weeks into the new year and I’ve already checked off one of my resolutions for 2007 – attending a convention. This past weekend I went to Sac-Anime and decided to interview some of the vendors and artists, using my MP3 player’s built-in microphone. So over the rest of this week, I’ll be posting audio from those interviews along with transcriptions because it might hard to hear what’s being said when there are hundreds of people in the same building.
