Since today is July 1st (Happy Dominion Day?) and other bloggers are reporting their monthly statistics, I figured I would relay mine to exhibit some sort of transparency and let you, the readers, know where I stand in readership and how a single news event post kind of made up for only composing 14 other posts the rest of the month (for an average of 0.5 posts/day).

Total visits: 2,177 – an average of about 72.5 a day. A good middle-term goal is to average 100-125 a day by December.

64% of those visits came from referring sites, like Anime Nano, Animeblogger.net Antenna, and Google Image Search.

If we dial into the top referring sites, 18.3% (399) of total visits came from Anime Nano, 12.7% (227) from AnimeBlogger.net, and pretty much the rest came from Google Image Search. (#6 is from Google Reader.)

Absolute unique visitors (a solid estimate of a site’s overall reading audience IMO): 1,813. I thank each one of you for stopping by and hope you come back regularly.

Pageviews continued to grow month-over-month on a steady slope from a low in February (1,162) to almost triple that in June (3,055) – posting more often certainly helped.

Next time I do this, I’ll try to make it less dry and seem less like congratulating myself. In fact, the above numbers show I have room to improve in terms of composing more reviews and non-news items and increasing frequency to a post almost every day.
