ADV Kanon 2006 Teaser Trailer (Video)

It was rumored that ADV would likely get the license for Kanon (2006) when they announced AIR TV and that was strengthened when there was news the company had snapped up the domain “kanontv.com”. Now, there is this teaser trailer appeared in ADV’s trailer directory last Friday. No dialogue yet but I think a formal announcement could happen within the next month or two.

    Looks like ADV have removed the trailer from their actual site now ^^;

    Looks like they aren’t ready to announce it quite yet, but they wouldn’t have had it up at all if they hadn’t licensed it. They’d be running the risk of getting some serious smackdown from the licensors if they had and were rumbled doing so.

    Yeah, two weeks ago, a bunch of their staffers could hardly keep straight faces when saying “we can neither confirm nor deny…” after being asked on that. Then they proceeded to make plenty of ‘uguu’ comments. So, yeah, they’ve got it, but I’m sure they’ve got a reason to not be able to officially announce it.
