@Asuka: Yeah, the longer 24/26-episode series do take up about 2 DVD cases worth of space more than short 12/13-episode ones. I should get more thinpacks whenever I start shopping again but the missing extras and redesigns are preventing me doing it more often. For example, the design for the Excel Saga thinpack makes me shudder.

@kent: I alternate between Nero or Sonic RecordNow! and I’m generally indifferent over which is better.

@Chiaki: Actually I think I bought only 3 mangas, 1 DVD, and that PaniPoni figure. I did manage to get rid of my extra Excel Saga DVD but I still have the 10-15 mangas that didn’t sell. We definitely need more plushies and figures next year.

Yer 25 DVDs for $100was a real good deal.

Its tough to have sufficient space for an otaku to store his/her tons of DVD, magazines and figurines.

25 DVDs for $100? That’s a damn good deal.

I typically find that if I were to get rid of DVDs, I would eliminate the longer series (26+ episodes) first. They tend to have the lowest rewatchability factor (because I would just watch the first few episodes, then lose the motivation to finish the rest). They also take up the most shelf space.
