Ouran Renai Game in Spring?

According to ANN, Ideafactory is making a Ouran Host Club romantic adventure game targeted at women for the PS2, due to come out in spring 2007 in Japan. I guess this isn’t exactly a case of life imitating art but more like games imitating anime and manga since Renge, the host club’s self-imposed manager, went to Japan because she was a fan of a relationship game (a parody of Tokimeki Memorial) featuring lookalikes of the host club’s members. I hope the characters have the same voices and I wonder if Haruhi would be available as a love interest…

Hey, if bishoujo games can have traps, can’t bishounen games have reverse traps? I don’t see why Haruhi wouldn’t be attainable…

It’s pretty old news… anyway, I hope the voices will be the same, and that the game will be at least tongue-in-cheek as the series itself.

Not that I have a PS2 or anything. :/ Goddammit.

I don’t like how the characters look different from the anime. Whats up with that?

kuromitsu: It may have old news but I hadn’t heard of it until now so it’s news to me.

Becky: Eh-heh, THAT is actually a screenshot from episode 4 of the anime. There are currently no images from the game available and I guess I should have explicitly stated that the picture was not from the game. Okay, I’ve added a note and sorry for any confusion.

That is one weird screenshot then. :P I don’t remember it and it does look like the coloring of the characters hair is way off and so on. wierd.

i wonder if it’ll be in english version since i can’t understand jpnese really well. lol, we’ll be like Renge..
